Science Grows Jobs is searching for Volunteers!

We are currently looking for volunteers to help us fill the positions listed below. If you want to help spread a great cause, and think you could fit in to any of the positions below, please contact us today!

Graphic Designer
We are looking for someone to help us design a logo, headers, and documents. If you are interested in helping us, please send us your resume’ and some recent designs by you.

Social Media Operator
Spreading our cause takes a lot of work. We currently have a Twitter (twitter.com/officialsgj) and a Facebook (facebook.com/sciencegrowsjobs). SGJ needs someone to handle our reach on both platforms. We ask that you post 2-4 times a day on each platform, and optimize hashtags and keywords for optimal reach. If you’re interested, please send us your resume’.

Website Designer
We are looking for someone to give the website a visual update. We would like a front page that clearly explains our cause, and gives easy-to-read instructions on what the user can do to help. Programming skills are preferred, as we would like a box that allows a user instantly E-Mail their Representative by entering their zip code. If interested, please send us your resume’ along with some work that you have done.

Outreach Coordinator (TBA)
Social media isn’t the only way to reach out to people. We would like to visit colleges, political events, and big cities. The Outreach Coordinator will plan out how we approach each event, and find colleges that will allow us space to speak to students.

Treasurer (TBA)
The treasurer will keep records of all incoming and outgoing funds. SGJ would like to form a PAC once we have the appropriate amount of public support. The right candidate must not have a criminal record, and should be extremely ethical when handling money. Knowledge of bookkeeping software is preferred.
